Around The Track Online is owned and operated by Laura Darling and Steve Post:

Laura Darling, originally from Jacksonville, Fla., got her first taste of racing at a local drag strip in Knoxville, Tenn. that her father took her to. This sparked an interest that took her to many oval tracks in her home state including Jax Raceway, her first dirt track. She moved to Concord (N.C.) in late 1994 where she experienced her first Sprint Cup/Nationwide and Camping World Truck series race at Charlotte and still enjoys local racing in the Carolinas.

Steve Post, from Hallstead, Pa., grew up attending area short tracks like Five Mile Point Speedway in Binghamton, N.Y. and Penn Can Speedway in Susquehanna, Pa. After working as track announcer and publicist for many years at those tracks and others; he made the move to North Carolina in 1996. After success in public relations, he moved to the broadcast industry where he continues working for MRN Radio, SIRIUS NASCAR Radio and RACELINE.
