Michigan International Speedway President Roger Curtis and his staff members delivered food to the Brooklyn Food Pantry on Thursday for the Holiday season. The food items were delivered courtesy of Competition Tire, who also had staff on hand for the delivery. The food will be dispersed to local families for the Christmas holiday.

 

The items were collected during the speedway’s Track Drive for Charity, which took place on Dec. 4. For a donation of a food item or unwrapped toy, race fans were able to drive their personal vehicles on the track. Overall, the track drive collected over 1,000 food items and toys. Curtis and his staff will donate the toys to Toys for Tots in Jackson, Mich. the week of Dec. 14.
